JOIN US FOR A SUMMER DINE-OUT NIGHT!

Do you love dogs? Do you also need to eat? Then we have the perfect event to share with you today. City Dogs Rescue has partnered with EatWell DC for a Summer Dine-Out night on Monday, August 13. As part of this event, fifteen percent of your dining dollars will go to City Dogs Rescue when you dine at an EatWell restaurant (The Pig, Logan Tavern, Grillfish, Commissary, and The Heights) that night.

However, you can do more than just chow down that day... we also need volunteers! There are lots of ways to help - you can assist with event planning or help out at one of the restaurants on the day of the event. You can encourage your friends to make reservations, and you can also volunteer as a host (which means that you bring five friends to eat). If you're interested in helping out, email meredith@citydogsrescuedc.org.

Please click HERE and it will walk you through the steps to join iGive.com.  It is a great way for City Dogs Rescue to raise funds with no additional costs to our supporters.  Just buy what you ordinarily would buy and we get a certain percentage depending upon the store.  Plus, there are some very popular stores - Amazon.com, ebay.com, PetSmart.com, BananaRepublic.com, etc., which you may frequent already.  In the event that the link does not work, you can sign up by going to http://www.igive.com/CityDogsRescue .  As always, thanks for your help!

Hold the Date: November 8th for City Dogs Rescue "Drag Bingo" Fundraiser at Nellie's Sports Bar

On Tuesday, November 8th, Nellie's Sports Bar at 900 U Street, NW Washington, DC (U Street Green Line Metro Stop) will host City Dogs Rescue for our first fundraising event.  Nellie's will be donating $1 for every Nellie's Beer purchased during the night.  We have a table reserved for 25 people for 6:30PM (we must have everyone there by that time to keep the reservation), but people can come at any time throughout the night.  Drag Bingo will be from 8 - 10 PM.  It will be a great night to meet new people and an easy way to help us raise some funds!  Please spread the word.
