Sponsor a Dog
What if you fall in love with a specific dog at City Dogs Rescue but you can't adopt it? You can sponsor that dog for $150, allowing you to make a donation in its honor to CDR to help provide for its care as well as that of all the other animals waiting to find forever homes. We will keep you updated on the dog's adoption status.
When you sponsor a pet, your full first name and first initial of your last name will appear on the pet's page for as long as it is available for adoption. You can also sponsor anonymously or donate in memory of a person or pet.
If you already know which dog you would like to sponsor, simply click the link below and proceed with your secure online donation using PayPal. If you would like to sponsor a dog but don't know which one, simply browse the list of our available dogs and click on the Sponsor Me link below the dog's photo.
Please note that all funds donated for "sponsoring a dog" are deposited into the general account [501(c)(3)] of City Dogs Rescue, which is used to pay for the health care, shelter, transportation, and overall care costs for all CDR dogs. We are unable to establish a separate account for each dog, and, further, specific care needs of the rescue dogs change by the day. Therefore, donations made under the dog sponsorship program may be used for the specific care of the sponsored dog or for the care of any other CDR dog, wherever most urgently needed.
