About Us

CDCK rescues dogs and cats from overwhelmed, underfunded shelters where they are at high risk of euthanasia. We offer a lifeline to around 1200+ innocent animals each year by providing urgent medical care and placing them in loving DC-area foster homes until their adoptions.

We are a 501(c)3 non profit, established in 2011.
