- Auction Support: Help us make our fundraiser happen! We have a big list of businesses that donate items to us and need volunteers to reach out to them, upload item information into the auction website, and other administrative auction support. This is a really easy way to provide help and can be done completely remotely. We provide all the information you need and just need help getting things organized and posted. Apply here.
- Adoption Event Leads: We are in need of a few more adoption event coordinators to help support our live adoption events. Coordinators organize and attend adoption events and answer basic questions about CDCK and the foster and/or adoption process. We ask that volunteers be available to attend at least one adoption event a month (usually on a weekend). Apply here.

Skills preferred include attention to detail, ability to respond to emails in a timely fashion, desire to help save dogs! Apply here.
- Videography/Video Compilation: Do you enjoy creating videos AND want to use those skills (basic or advanced, we don't care!) to help get our adoptable animals into homes? We need help creating basic compilation videos to help these furry friends catch the eye of their forever families. Apply here.
- Cute Animal Photo Uploading: Looking for an excuse to look at adorable animals? This is the volunteer role for you! We need help posting photos of our dogs and cats to Facebook and our website. Tech skills are NOT needed. It's easy, fast and rewarding. These photos are critical to catching the eye of potential adopters. Apply here.

In this role will help us engage future adopters, fosters, and community supporters to support our mission of finding a home for each and every homeless pet we can. Examples of some of the help we need include social media, marketing, community engagement/outreach, volunteer recruitment, and graphic design (just the basics). Expect to spend 2 or so hours on this and a monthly hour long meeting where team members can work together to strategize. Apply here.
- City Kitties Administrative Support: Help our CK Lead with a variety of tasks related to filing vet records, preparing intake documents, and working with veterinarians to obtain records. Position requires a flexible nature and positive attitude. Expect to contribute around 5 hours a week for a minimum of 6 months. Work done remotely! Apply here.
- Intake Volunteer (Dogs): We are always in need of people to help with our animal intake which consists of helping to unload and outfitting the incoming shelter animals in order to hand them off to adopters and fosters. Intake occurs on Saturdays and requires in-person volunteering but at an outdoor location. During this process we strive to take all precautions to keep everyone as safe as possible during the pandemic while also continuing to save the lives of cats and dogs. Each intake takes about 2 hours and a training is required before attending. If you are 16 years or younger, you must have a parent or guardian volunteer with you. Apply here.
