Scott Davies

Scott has over 28 years of progressive leadership experience in the public, private, and military sectors primarily focused on transportation and emergency management. He has a B.S. in Marine Transportation from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (1997) and a M.A. in National Security Strategic Studies from the Naval War College (2005). After sailing on commercial vessels for 3 years after graduation, Scott worked in 3 rd party logistics for 3 years before transitioning to the federal government, working for 17 years for the U.S. Department of Transportation until 2020 when he started in his current role. Since 1997, Scott has also been a Navy Reservist, reaching the rank of Captain in 2019. Scott also served a 2-year term as an Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner in Washington, DC and also manages rental properties.

Having been involved with City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue, primarily in its early years assisting with transportation
efforts, I have always been incredibly proud of its mission to save the lives of our furry friends and find forever homes
for them with loving families.
